Handmade means hand-made
No moulds, no casting, no shortcuts. If a piece needs two hands on it, it gets two hands.
Our story
In 1987, Léon Vanderschueren traded a steady job for a rented storeroom behind the flea market.
From one wheel to three
Léon threw pots for the flea-market traders next door, then for restaurants, then for anyone who walked in. His daughter Camille joined in 2012; the studio now runs three wheels and teaches a full class schedule.
What we believe
No moulds, no casting, no shortcuts. If a piece needs two hands on it, it gets two hands.
A cup you're afraid to drink from is a failed cup. Ours go in the dishwasher and come out better.
Belgian clay when we can get it, Brussels glazes, and a kiln that runs on green energy.
